To be fair then, shouldn’t it be the case that FGR should be calling themselves a Vegan Football Ground, rather than a Vegan Football Club, as the latter implies involvement in Veganism by everyone connected with the Club?Chris FGR wrote:Tbf, the players and staff have always been free to eat whatever they want. I must say, I still chuckle at the photo someone posted a couple of seasons back, of FGR players which included the big lad Jon Parkin, stuffing their faces with bacon sarnies outside Gregg’s after attending training one morning:

The ‘sustainability’ claim is also coming in for plenty of stick too, from all quarters now. The publicity machine really needs to rethink their strategy because they are making the club a laughing stock.

Not like Vince to claim one thing but deliver something quite different.Lord Elpuz wrote:To be fair then, shouldn’t it be the case that FGR should be calling themselves a Vegan Football Ground, rather than a Vegan Football Club, as the latter implies involvement in Veganism by everyone connected with the Club?Chris FGR wrote:Tbf, the players and staff have always been free to eat whatever they want. In a way, in terms of media outlets looking beyond the PR veneer and looking in more scrutiny at the rotten heart of the Club it would be better if they do get a promotion or two as that will mean the press pay more scrutiny rather than just sharing DV’s press releaeses.
No mention of this incident on the FGR forum. I assume it is a censored topic and removed my the moderators for being a negative story.

I know it's jolly good fun to bash our friends from Nailsworth, but this is a little desperate. The club policy has always clearly been that only vegan products are available at TNL. They've never required players or staff to be vegan and I've always assumed they eat whatever they like away from TNL.

That's a link to a thread about a completely unrelated story in the Sun. Can you direct us to the forum discussion about the Macclesfield fish and chips saga? The Old TomCat wrote:WRONG [again]RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote:
