What would your first choice front pairing be at the moment?

Varney and Mooney.
Varney’s experience is important and Mooney’s speed is absolutely critical.
I would rotate though - three players, so they can average 120 mins each over two games. One may play 90 one week and 30 the next, or an hour each week, and so on.
They all offer something but for me, pace is key and we don’t look like winning games with just the two slower men up top.

Sorry but I was not impressed with Mooney the other night, I thought his movement, anticipation and application were poor. He needs to do much more.
Rather see our own George Lloyd given a chance myself.
Not over impressed with any of our forwards to be honest, sums it up when Will Boyle is top scorer with four in mid November.
