Many away for Christmas. About five or six empty ST seats around me for that reason.Robin wrote:Shocking attendance today for what was comfortably our best performance of the season. I wasn't expecting much but would have hoped for closer to 4000 today.
It was disappointing, especially as Boxing Day is traditionally when you expect to get a bumper crowd. I suspect it'll take a long time to tempt back most of the 'floaters' and make attendances respectable again, but performances like today's will certainly help!

Are STs included in the attendance whether or not they attend? Or is it actual clicks through the turnstiles?RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote: Many away for Christmas. About five or six empty ST seats around me for that reason.

Predictions for FGR on Saturday? I’m going 4300 including around 800 from Nailsworth.

Pretty sure it is through the turnstiles at CTFC - although in the CF as half the turnstiles are closed to cut costs, a steward is always recruited to let people in the fire escape/disabled access door so no turnstile clicks but stubs to count.Jerry St Clair wrote:Are STs included in the attendance whether or not they attend? You’re probably closer to the mark.Robin wrote:3900 600 away.Jerry St Clair wrote:Predictions for FGR on Saturday? I’m going 4300 including around 800 from Nailsworth.
I’m, perhaps optimistically, hoping that local derby + great Boxing Day result might = an extra 700 home fans on the gate.

For whatever reason, those that couldn’t make the game today missed an absolute corker. Some of the best created and taken goals I have seen at CTFC for many a year. I do believe we have turned a corner and that the fans (and glory hunters) will begin to return in good time.
One envisages a probable reason the numbers were down today, is perhaps that some who buy tickets on the day may not have been able to afford both MK Dons & FGR tickets so close together, due to Christmas spending, so have most likely held back for the FGR game; I expect that game to attract 4000+ fans.

I am going big. 4,500 vs FGR. Of which in the away end, 900.
Not too bad at all in the village, but plenty of snow up mountains. -19 with wind chill up theretheidlerich wrote:Please could all those favouring better climes not post......it's most disconcerting, especially as one had to sit through that!!!!
