So far, so good. Sounds like we weathered an early storm before going 2 up.
Mullins off injured after 9 mins though. Hope its not too bad otherwise we're looking thin at the back.

This has been a very nervy second half to listen too but assuming we hold on we are almost clear of the relegation scrap. Huge credit to Duff and the players, hopefully now time to start aiming to finish higher than last season.
At this stage Cambridge and Yeovil both looking like they could replace Notts or Macclesfield in the bottom two over the next few weeks.

We all know that Gary Johnson is a mighty fine manager at this level, but sometimes you need a bit of fresh air and some new ideas, which is exactly what MD has brought. Players look re-energised and full of confidence. There’s going to be sticky spells ahead but we’re back moving in the right direction for the first time since the end of the Championship season.
It's not a comparison. Johnson may well have got an improvement. But we'll never know. We were only a strike or two from a decent side. And actually it's no longer relevant.
What is apparent and far more important, is that Duffo has found a formation which works with the players he has, and in Varney and Barnett a pair of highly experienced forwards. As is often the case, the formation and emergence of Addai may well have been through good luck.
But he has got them playing as a group, and the results are coming. So all good stuff.
