I'd rather have Duku in our squad than Sam Jones but it sounds as though the big man is going back to another conference club.

And talking of strikers FGR have signed Shawn McColskey on a 2 year deal (former loan target)

Wow that's a decent signing to be fair must have broken their transfer record to do it too.

Doubt we could afford the fee now having spunked a lot on poor loan signings instead.

Yes, he'd be a good impact sub and could then force his way in as Alex has done.

Duku is a natural striker who clearly has a lot to offer and I hope we give him opportunities during the second half of the season. With the chances now being created I'm confident he would score plenty of goals.

Thought Doidge was a sale (disguised as a loan till January) and wasn’t, therefore, coming back?

One suspects that *Ecotricity customers have already unwittingly bought FGRs passage to League 1

(*doesn’t include part-time sycophant ‘The Old GingerTom’ - as he’s not unswervingly loyal to DV)

As I understand it Doidge was a loan with a permanent transfer agreed, there was an upfront payment with the rest to follow at point of permanent transfer (plus add ons). I read somewhere FGR got £250,000 upfront but the rest due in January) however Bolton are no longer allowed to pay the rest so he'll be in limbo for a few weeks.
