Beware the ides of March….….not least the bizarre refereeing to-day vs Port Vale, known locally as the “Chokers or Bear huggers”. A few [well…….quite a lot really] of ultra –nervy moments; but the right result. Agreed with the MoM, Billy must have covered miles at pace; Thomas still an errant passer, which negates his composure and midfiled ability. Pity Varney missed his sitter to make the win more comfortable; good to see a ‘welcome’ to Scottie from the home crowd. Somewhat miffed; if I had picked up Varney was fit he would have been my scorer; didn’t pick that up on the forum! Our league still has asl clinging on to his lead, RCS closing in; bunching in mid-table with pas with a lot to do. So eventually to Mansfield; I will go with my earlier prediction…’ so a losing 0-3 scoreline, no scorer.

I see that Tyler Walker got sent off for Mansfield. If he were absent, that would not be a bad thing from our perspective.

No chance of him being involved, he was sent off for gesturing something rude at the linesman and he knew he was in trouble as soon as the lino raised his flag to get the ref over.
