a bit hit and miss, all he had was pace, and when that pace goes players like him have nothing else to offer (anyone remember Steve Abbley ?)

Three hundred and fifty six league and cup appearances. He must be bad.

McG and Mo combing to rip teams to shreds with blisteringly fast runs and one-twos were some of the most enjoyable moments supporting CTFC.

The closest equivalent to Mane/Salah/Fermino style attacking that L2 has seen imo.

Terrified defenders, I liked him.

He was a fantastic player - but he wasn't the right player for us at the time he came in.

He was a League 2 winger. He has pace and occasionally pulled out a quality ball, but his most dangerous asset was scarig defenders by running at pand around them and getting them to foul him in dangerous areas, a bit like Addai had been for us this season. Only Addai pulled out a couple of assists

Saying that, his arrival coincided with us blowing promotion in 2012.

^^this

He pressurised defenders, winning free kick aplenty. He got the crowd excited.
But his arrival disrupted a winning formula and formation. It meant omitting one of the three amigos (Pack, Penn and Summerfield) or playing one of them on the opposite 'wing' which lost an advantage in our strongest area.

Never understood the fascination with him. Absolutely no end product when he was with us and the fact he’s ended up at Wrexham tells me that he’s probably still the same

Yeah, after 4 years, and over 100 games in League 1 of course.

One of the worst divers i've seen in a CTFC shirt. Overrated.

Well, some of these comments are very mean-spirited. Take a look at this little collection:

saying he has 350 games under his belt means nothing, John Barnes played 70 odd games for England !!

For all the fast running and excitement his actual number of assists was mediocre.
