I don’t know why they do this every year. The story is obviously a hoax from the title: ‘caught 50 fans’?? Go on, pull the other one. They should have made it realistic at least

Hmm...it's not much of an April Fools Day prank when it's so unbelievable. Maybe if they'd said Nick Pope or Joe Hart, given Burnley have so many goalkeepers, or Jonathan Walters then it would have taken a couple of moments to realise it was BS!

Unless I’m missing the point, it’s looking like this was a true occurance and not an April Fool’s gag. If it is indeed true, then FGR are clearly desperate about ticket sales versus their overall running costs. As said before, this years accounts (FY ending March 2019) should make interesting reading.

Shame they didn’t write a gag about some of their ‘fans’ refusing to take their Power Supply from Ecotricity. But then again we beat them to the gag ... which we finally placed on OTC :lol:
