Confusing statement that. Would almost think, the Chairman thinks they have a competitive squad, but Sol wanted money to improve it. With the usual answer, coming back at him.

What did Sol expect? Is he hoping to get a job a bigger League club before the window closes?

It was heroic stuff to keep them up last season. If they get the next appointment wrong it could end in relegation.

Macc fans on another forum saying he hasn't been paid since last season.

Whether he needs the money or not, one assumes he doesn't, he can't be expected to work for nothing.

Eight months in charge of a lower league 2 side makes him more than qualified (over qualified in fact) to manage in the champ or prem.
