Best spend some time practicing penalties this week then.

Let's hope the game doesn't boil over

After the early anti-Cheltenham Kettle, hasn't he been quite good to us in recent times?

Cue a million references on the radio to "the whistling Kettle"...

He reffed us 3 times last season - our only two away wins in 2019 - Yeovil and Crewe. He also reffed our 1-0 defeat at Grimsby.

In 17/18 he reffed our win away at Barnet and our 2-1 defeat to FGR in the Checkatrade Trophy.

In 16/17 he reffed our 1-1 draw at home to Luton and 2-1 away defeat at Stevenage.

In all those games there were two red cards, one was a Luton player and the other was Danny Wright against FGR (a deserved red if I remember correctly).

We have to dominate the ref. A full away stand will sound much noisier on the pitch than the home stand and may well influence the ref.

Tozer and Varney have to step up as experienced players to get on the ref from the off and stop him being influenced by the away end.
