caught my first footy action of the "new season" today at Evesham when Man Utd legends took on Liverpool legends - felt sorry for them playing in that heat. Liverpool looked younger and fitter and when I left they were 4-0 up. One or two on each side were "locals" who has won auctions to play in the match.
Were many of the legends, legendary?
well............. er................not really - not unless you count Arthur Albiston, Mark Wright, Alan Kennedy and the like as legends !!leohoenig wrote:Were many of the legends, legendary?
mind you having said that ..... can you imagine some of todays "legends" trotting out at Evesham in 25 years time?
