I've tried looking online (briefly) for this one.
Who has been the longest serving International manager in world football in one continuous spell?
Also, if there has been somebody in charge of a national team for longer than that in two or more spells, who?
Quiz question...but I don't have the answer

Yes, I have Winterbottom at 16 years and Lars Lagerback (Sweden) 9 years (4 as co-manager and 5 as solo manager). Other than that I'm not sure.Si Robin wrote:I don't know about overall, but Walter Winterbottom was England manager for 16 years (1946-1962). He was also England's first official manager.

been there over 15 years - I think it was mentioned when England played San Marino earlier in the year. Something like a 1% win rate as well LOL.
