Am I reading this right? Club v Country brought to a new level?

The Congolese club says the players are injured, the Zambian FA checks and says they're not and should go to the game, so the Zambian government wades in and takes the players passports away so that they can't go back to their club in Congo. The players are thought to have gone on the run back to Congo anyway, so the Zambian government puts out an arrest warrant. Presumably this means the players can't play for their club in Congo anyway without police turning up and arresting them.
This is one way to stop our England players potentially feigning injury for meaningless international games...if we had any at foreign clubs!

I suspect that the Congo police would ignore the Zambian arrest warrants, although it may now be difficult for them to turn out for their club in games outside the Congo. Meanwhile, Mazembe remain almost as almighty as their name, Tout Puissant suggests. (They have dropped the word Englebert from their name).
