The Northern League takes the Vase again. Apart from an NL side losing to Sholing in 2014 the Vase has returned to the North East every year since 2008 with a few runners up during that time too.

No reason to expect anything different next year.

Grimsby got their wish, promotion, so I doubt they will lose any sleep over the tinpot. A much bigger and more significant day for Halifax. I am glad thet won simply because they actually cared about the trophy when Grimsby felt it was beneath them

50k prize money for winners 25k for runners up. That will make a big difference to Halifax in Conf North.
