Not to mention the Russian sports minister and the official football fans Union spokesman both saying "There was no clash..." with the latter adding “The entire English sector… just got up and ran away. There were no scuffles, police were standing there. Everything is ok. The police are working well.”

Modern Russia really has become a dire, despot nation. It appears to be in the national DNA to lie.

The football governing bodies, ignored all these concerns when the world cup was up for sale. So no chance they will do anything now, or put their heads over the parapet.
have to say it was good to see the Irish and Polish fans mixed together and enjoying themselves

Russians themselves seem to actually believe the balls that they're told though. Same as in North Korea, they only get told what they're supposed to believe and think Western democracy, etc, is evil and we're an imminent danger to their future. More so in DPRK, obviously, but some of the utter rubbish some Russians are putting on facebook comments makes you wonder.

I think Putin sent a militia over to disrupt and divide Europe further to hasten the break-up of the EU.

There were Russians in England and Premier League shirts in the bars since Wednesday ready for when the armed gangs came on Friday and Satutday.

Yes because they're doing a fantastic job of that in Chechnya, aren't they. Failed at communism, failed at democracy...it's not 1939 Mal, there's more chance of the Swiss saving the world that the penniless drunken Russian bear cub.

So now Russia will be expelled if there's any more trouble from their fans, according to UEFA. They should be banned for their dress sense. Some of the photos I've seen of denim shorts and bum bags has been disgusting...

The English hooligans involved are just drunk thick morons. If you stand on a table bare chested arms wide throwing beet around singing provocative songs people will have little sympathy if a Russian militiaman shuts you up with an axe and a boot.

It is the ordinary, innocent, decent fans there to enjoy the tournament who I am concerned for.
