Pathetic decision. Should be taking legal action against betting companies that offer odds on such ridiculous things, especially ones where he can't help but know about the bet and it's down to him doing one thing or another - the bet is always fixed no matter the outcome.

Correct: but FA/FL/establishment are never going to go after the bookies as they put so much money into the game. Plus half of the FA suits probably have shares/positions/interests in gambling firms. Much easier to make a semi-pro player the scapegoat. That's how Britain works.

For different reasons the bookies are soon to get their comeuppance as there are major investigations currently ongoing into their overall behaviour.

Yup. Targeting areas of deprivation and high addiction levels with FOTBs, encouraging people who have self-excluded in attempts to stop to carry on, locating offshore to avoid tax, no paying minimum wage, etc etc.

Nope. More about how their bonuses work including giving out bonuses for welcome offers and either not paying when someone wins or banning them for winning.
