It shows the contempt that the PL have for the fans that go to a game.
The next thing will be playing at 3 in the morning so that it can be on at prime time in USA.

TBH, I'm surprised it didn't happen years ago, especially with German, Italian and Spanish games on TV at that time. So, you know there will be times when we'll have PL kick-offs at 8pm Friday, lunchtime Saturday, 3pm Saturday, 5:30pm Saturday, 7:45pm Saturday, 12:30pm Sunday, 2:30pm Sunday, 4:30pm Sunday, 8pm Monday, meaning a maximum of 2 games at 3pm on a Saturday. I wouldn't be surprised if the auction after that offers every single Premier League game and there will be weekends with no kick offs at 3pm on a Saturday. Thursday 8pm and Sunday 7:45pm kick-offs will make it possible.
I know the dream is to reach the Premier League, but it's much easier to support your club at League 1 or 2 level, even if it is deemed expensive by a lot of people.

The premier league have no interest in the fans of the clubs they represent.
