Real odd one for Boro - though I spose it shows they must have decided a while ago and waited for a successor to be lined up before ditching Monk, rather than it being a knee-jerk response!

I don't get it. 9th in the div. Just a few points off playoffs. Doesn't make any sense. Gibson usually gives mgr's time

Pulis not risking his 'never been relegated from the Prem' record then. I guess that is why he didn't fancy Swansea.
