Germany (5/1) to win the world cup outright for me, they look strong and haven't lost since July 2016, and they are a quality tournament team.
My dark horses are Serbia (200/1) a fiver E/W.
A fabulous team; they have not lost since July 2016.

Germany lost to both Brazil and Austria recently before unconvincingly squeaking past Saudi Arabia at the weekend, so I don't know where you've got that info from. It's been even longer since England last lost a game, June 2016, and that includes friendlies...

Mitro’s been on top form firing Fulham to promotion so the Serbs could do well.Malabus wrote:Germany (5/1) to win the world cup outright for me, they look strong and haven't lost since July 2016, and they are a quality tournament team.

Horrendous lack of VAR for the two Swiss hauling down Mitrovic in the six yard box not long before the Stoke rat Shaqiri popped up. Serbia will just have to beat Brazil.Malabus wrote:Germany (5/1) to win the world cup outright for me, they look strong and haven't lost since July 2016, and they are a quality tournament team.

No reason why not. Still nobody that has staked a claim yet. Both England and Belgium have produced the best football and the most goals but against possibly the worst two teams in the tournament. Or would England and Belgium have done the same against some of the sides the big boys have been struggling against? Most open world cup for many years, in my opinion. In more ways than one.
I can't believe we've got to the third round of group matches and still no goalless draws.

Yes I did....but I was hoping for a better performance, especially with the group they was in.Shade wrote:Hope you didn't actually put any money on Germany, Mal...
When your country has open borders the national spirit diminishes.
