thanks for this. Am I right that 1 team from League D will qualify for Euro 2020 via the playoff?

League D (16 teams): Azerbaijan, FYR Macedonia, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Latvia, Faroe Islands, Luxembourg, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Liechtenstein, Malta, Andorra, Kosovo, San Marino, Gibraltar.

Scary, but true

Dangling the carrot in the hope that one or two might improve with a realistic chance of getting to a finals, rather than a third place group finish being the best they could hope for?

Some of the lower League C teams should surely hope for relegation then get a decent shot at Euro 2024.
I see someone like Finland making use of this.
