CTFC vs Crewe Alexandra Away Sat 18th January 2020
Poor ref; poor eats in CF stand [long queue]; dismal weather; livened up by a superb first half. Campbell should have taken a shot on goal when opportunity arose early on; didn't and consequently became a lost statistic. Which despite his obvious willingness to run around, does not achieve too much. I'm beginning to think he is not really up to league footy. No doubt I'll be shot down on this one.
That apart excellent team performance'; May unlucky not to get a hat-trick [in truth he should have]; thought Sean Long played well too after coming on for 'my scorer'! Thought Walsall were relatively poor; chuckled when their fans chanted "don't know what you're doing" at the ref - believe all our fans thought the same!
Crewe will be a real test; hope for a draw at 1-1 with May to score if he's lucky [ps someone tell him not to strip off if he does - a silly yellow to concede].
Would hope to add points and our table later; however a serious malfunction on my MS Windows PC [it seems to be in a permanent hibernation], yet to get to grips with the apple one! Suffice to say Shade shaded the points with 10 and good to see JRA predicted.
