CTFC vs Bolton Wanderers AWAY 16th Jan 2021
my second viewing of CTFC this season; thoroughly enjoyable and great to see some familiar faces on the pitch. A well deserved win; but like many others lament the lack of that cutting edge when in the box. Superb goal from Alfie May and good too see the Tozer/Boyle partnership blossom again! A nervy few minutes towards the end during extra-time, but we have come to expect that over time! Pleased to see the dynamo that is AA on the pitch; thought he looked 'rusty' and out of sync with the pace and speed from his disappearance into the nether reaches. Also hope The Robins Trust buys him a set of longer studs!,,,, and has a quiet word in his ear that occasionally a pass before he sets off to the byline after 2 or 3 excursions back and forth a cross might be a better option. That is if we had anyone in the box at the time! The early goal was a howler; however errors are made, and in this case hopefully now forgotten. How the ref missed the clear penalty I shall never know; nor will the commentators. Who, incidentally though they were ok.So thank you 'FAplayer', and hope to repeat for the next round. THFC; WHFC. MUFC anyone?
For Bolton Wanders; that result would have geed them up so a win at 2-1 with May to score first.
0/0/5-5
Red Duke leads the way wirh 110, with ASL & JRA on 90.
