"One in five Scottish people think that jam is one of their five a day despite containing two thirds sugar"
A bit of a silly second of half the sentence from the mail - a fruit could be 99.9% sugar, but still count as 1 of the 5 a day as the two are not linked.
I'd have written:
"One in five Scottish people think that jam is one of their five a day which is why they have three Buckfast-battered doughnuts for breakfast every day"
