Through work I've seen this a few times. One woman that was left without a clue what to do when she found out the Tunisian she'd brought to the country and married didn't love her at all and left after a few months of marriage, when he'd earned enough to move on.
I believe he's still here, but probably sending the money back to his family. Meanwhile the British woman still can't believe what a mug she was. Like so many others.Malabus wrote:Shade wrote: when he'd earned enough to move on.
One of the many reasons why this country economy is suffering - People taking wealth/money out of the country.
Dare I say immigrants should be treated exactly the same who as anyone who legally lives here. If the system allows it, then it is the fault of the system for allowing it to be exploited. If we're going to discuss money the leaving the country I could start banging on about the large companies avoiding tax, profits from British companies going off to foreign shareholders or how much was lost in the LIBOR scandal.

Don't confuse the abhorrent crime of human trafficking with legitimate immigration Mal. It's insulting to trafficking victims that you you'd use them in an anti immigration argument.Malabus wrote:Human trafficking has gone up 150% from Poland and 450% from Albanian to the UK in the last twelve months.
