its been the same ever since the website design changed a couple of years ago. I used to get some good info from both that and the Citizen but now the 1st page of "news" has hardly anything there anymore

Local paper owned by a national media group that keeps scaling back staff at the Echo so what little news there is is rushed and terribly reported, and all the local websites are linked with completely irrelevant adverts on them. Won't be long until there are no physical local newspapers and there are independent local news websites pop up showing nothing but twitter feeds.
