This is silly... Funny, but silly...

Australia 29 for 6 (SIX!) within 7 overs and 45 mins.

33-7, still within the hour.

Bloody Johnson, coming in and scoring some runs. Who the hell does he think he is.

Stuart Broad, fastest ever 5-for from the start of a Test match, and equal fastest from any point (19 balls).
Stunning.

I'd be tempted to bowl a deliberate no-ball just to ensure Extras top-scores.

Haha. Flippin' power cut, I missed 8 and 9 go down. Still, I'm sure this will be shown a fair bit

Extras were top scorers for the Aussies with 14.

Best TMS ever whilst in my admin time at work.

Half way to reaching their score with no wickets down :D
This is starting to make up for the 5-0 down under.

One down - but it's okay, it's only Lyth playing in his last match.

He won't be dropped for the 5th Test when we've already won The Ashes. It's a free go for him and a final chance. The don't want to drop him.

Super Broad does the job. Every year he has his doubters, and every year he proves them wrong with either bat or ball if not both. One of England's all times best.

Just wish he would turn it on a little more often so that the doubters didn't have a chance to air their opinions. He will benefit now we don't have a coach that wants him to bowl short too often.

Wonder if he got a good sleep overnight while on 499 wickets? Root won't be able to prise that ball out of his hands this morning until he's got to 500! Better bloody well not rain...

I don't think he's going to get there today. There's always tomorrow...if they do get out tomorrow then it doesn't exactly look like being friendly batting conditions. Met Office predicting 16C and rain around still. We may not have long enough to win the match, but he should knock at least one over at some stage.

As long as we get 20-30 overs that should be enough for England to skittle the last 8.

And there it is, #500. The plumbest of LBW's. Kraigg Brathwaite has the unique honour of being Jimmy Anderson and Stuart Broad's 500th wicket!
