Overwhelming support for Barrow's finest in Parliament today.

Do you agree?

Appreciate the position taken by those with a 'moral' objection to such weapon systems. However, I believe scrapping it would be the wrong signal to be putting out in this ever uncertain world. Especially with a nut job in charge of Russia and a total lack of confidence in the UN to police any non nuclear proliferation.
Jaysus, how long has it taken to get Russia kicked out of the Olympics ! 18 days to go and still debating. Hate to think how long it would take if anything serious was going on. The UN believes and survives on appeasement. When push comes to shove, you are on your own and that is why we need a viable deterrent

Exactly. Anyone who says we don't need them because the World has moved on and they do nothing to stop madmen in trucks or with knives have taken their eyes off Russia and probably believe North Korea is just somewhere to poke fun at.

The world would laugh at us if we got rid of them. Difference between us and most countries is we won't use them unless we really had to.

Jeremy wouldn't use them, even then. He plans to write a stern letter of rebuke, instead, and make it quite clear the UK is "very cross."
