German Police covered up the Cologne sex attacks; but they can never cover up a shooter.

Munich tragedy appears not to be religiously motivated.
The culprit a fan of far right ideology, including Anders Breivik.

I can't help but think that German society is going to struggle to accept Angela Merkel's choices, over time.

Now, are you sure about this one...? Cos you looked a bit of a dick when your last attempt at making political gains from a tragedy turned out not to be quite as you portrayed it as the shooter wasn't actually an immigrant.
Incidentally, my 25yo Irish niece came to the UK a year or so ago. She's an occupational therapist at Addenbrookes in Cambridge and, a couple of weeks ago, a 75yo female patient that she was treating pulled her close and said "why don't you f#!$ off back to your own country?"
Nice. #nomoreeuimmigrants

Never understand why people re tell stories like this as they are meaningless. All it proves is that there is a 75 year old most probably senile, nut job in cambridgeshire. Not indicative of the population any more than and English hating republican is representative of the Irish
Dicks believe main stream BBC liberalism propaganda and this confirms you are a dick.....Ansbach explosion: Bomber pledged allegiance to ISasl wrote:Now, are you sure about this one...? Cos you looked a bit of a dick when your last time

Price worth paying. The fact terrorists oppose liberal democracy tells you all you need to know about the alternatives.Malabus wrote:Terrorist attacks is the price we pay for as a Liberalism democracy.

Never understand why people tell stories like this to police. All it proves is.......oh.....6000 reports, eh? And that's just the ones who reported the matter. Yes, racism existed before the referendum - but I'm afraid some very stupid people believe the result legitimises their abhorrent opinions.

Whilst I agree with that statement to an extent, asl, it would be interesting to see the verified figure, as that statistic is based purely on reporting incidents to a special hotline - which to my mind, can be manipulated by those with a political or social agenda filing fictitious or exaggerated reports. So I wonder how many have/will be investigated by the Police. That might sound cynical, but I do not find it inconceivable.

Balanced of course by the high levels of non-reporting (under-reporting) of nearly all forms of hate crimes (not just religious, but those against LGBT, women, disabled, etc).Circa 1887 wrote:Whilst I agree with that statement to an extent, asl, it would be interesting to see the verified figure, as that statistic is based purely on reporting incidents to a special hotline - which to my mind, can be manipulated by those with a political or social agenda filing fictitious or exaggerated reports. So overall I would say the trend indicated by Asl is not too far off the mark.
I have no time for bigotry or discrimination of any sort, and very little for those who try and excuse, justify or make-out it's not as bad as people say.
I would rather have the UK full with immigrants (law abiding ones) than British bigots.
