After not very long. Surely NF won't make yet another reverse-resignation?

UKIP MEPs sparking each other out in Strasbourg now: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/20 ... parliament" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Funny how they hate the EU so much but are happy to take our taxes as payment to be out there.

Mike Hookem is the Ukip defence spokesman apparently. They do say that attack is the best form of defence but he may have taken it a bit too literally so it seems. This is starting to look like Ukips very own Night of the Long Knives.

Left Hookem or Right Hookem?

I heard Ms Uppercut and Mx Jab are also going to stand for leadership of the now irrelevant and imploding party.

Perhaps Ukip have decided that instead of the usual leadership selection process they are going to have some sort of Hunger Games type contest instead?

When you commies got the guts to talk hard politics then I will judge if it's sense or senseless.

Fact of the day :
Commie Joseph Stalin when he ruled the Soviet Union murdered 20,000,000 humans.

Labour loonies.

Stalin was a communist fascist, with more in common with Hitler than people simply think governments should intervene when markets fail and don't take into account non-financial costs.

You have complained yourself about the meat industry, pollution from cars and industry - which by your definition makes you a communist!

Diane Abbott was on the radio last week commenting on something that had come out of the Conservative Party Conference. I've never heard so much blustering and straw-clutching in my life and thought then "what an incredibly weak shadow minister." Next thing I hear, she's been promoted to Home Secretary. Funnily enough, I thought Yvette Cooper did that job pretty well and I'm not simply Labour-bashing.

Which party currently has the biggest turmoil and inability to provide any form of effective, coherent opposition? Labour and UKIP seem to be in competition with each other...

At least Labour have an elected leader who has doubled the membership base in a year.

Speaking of Tory Conference, interesting to see Mrs May announce Miliband/Balls policies on tackling failed markets (energy) and destructive businesses (employee board representation).

Are you seeing that as a positive or negative, RCS? It really winds me up when I see things like "so-and-so makes U-turn, is humiliated", etc. To me, it's the sign of a good leader/MP/whatever, that listens and goes forward with what is best, rather than pig-headedly going ahead with their own plan whether anyone else supports it or not. The media make it that you're an idiot if you go ahead with your plans, and an idea if you give it a second thought and change your mind. Democracy.

Not seeing it either way, like you say, it is often good for politicians to change their mind base don evidence. Just wish it would happen more often.

Where I was making a dig was at all those who slagged off 'Red Ed' for being 'socialist' and 'anti-business', etc, only to now support May when she does the same!

So the media and the mindless who take what the media says as gospel is my criticism.

Indeed. Our post truth tribal politics is a joke. I feel that people like me and you who try and judge policies on fact and evidence pretty much transcend party politics. I do not necessarily support the ideology of any party and just rely on data and evidence.
