Corbyn will be pleased: he will be out of a job in time to spend the summer on the allotment and in Islington coffee shops.

She must be pretty confident of winning - and the latest polls would support that. Or maybe she secretly wants to lose in order to avoid her undoubted failure to deliver the undeliverable? If Labour's share of the vote goes down, will Jeremy finally admit defeat and quit 'for the good of the party'?

I do wonder whether this would damage the SNP share of the vote in Scotland. It might prove an interesting barometer as to whether people there really want a second 'once in a generation independence referendum' so soon after the first.

As The Daily Mash headline says: "'More politics? How absolutely f**king fantastic', says Britain"

Depends on where in the country.

Places like Exeter and London could go to Lib Dem or Tory, in places like South Shields or Blyth then Ukip are usually the second party after Labour. But if Nuttall keeps making Ukip hopeless who knows, but we do know the North East (urban areas) won't vote Tory for at least a few morw generations yet.

Though I suspect Labour will mop up their unloseable 150 or so seats across the North and inner east London.

Shame May doesn't have the bottle to debate on TV. Obvious though why, she has nothing to gain and all to lose from participating. Still cowardly nonetheless.

She struggles in a five minute radio interview with her chums and supporters at the BBC let alone an hour vs several opponents.

I'm not a big fan of TV debates. Keep them in the US.
