Don't be so disgusting. I am completely and utterly against these barbaric and sickening acts and condemn them fully, as I do all acts of terrorism. I had friends who were at London Bridge and Borough earlier in the evening. Please apologise for your, quite frankly offensive, accusation.Nesty wrote:I take it you are in favour of these barbaric acts ?RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote:Give it a rest mate.

You are claiming the majority of Brits blame Islam as a whole for terrorists rather than a small number of fanatical individuals? I spose next you'll be saying all Irish and Catholic people were to blame for IRA bombings.Nesty wrote:please desist from telling Malabus to give it a rest. He is only saying what the vast majority of Brits are thinking but too afraid to for fear of offending the PC brigade
I hate terrorists as much as you and Mal. My post to Mal was telling him to stop stirring up further division by using this as an excuse for once again droning on about and Muslims and Liberalism.

If we're in the business of being brave enough to raise 'un-PC' questions, then I have seen plenty of suspicions over the timing of this. And also questions surrounding the biggest threat, alongside terrorism, to western democracy of the hidden influence of extreme business and media moguls on governments and voters.
Given that Theresa May will be pleased about the beneficial timing which will boost her vote next week, there are people asking the question of whether this attack was the ultimate 'dead cat' strategy orchestrated by the likes of Crosby/Bannon/Murdoch and others who prop up the Trump and May governments. Not something I necessarily believe, but I can understand why people are suspicious and I would by no means say such a deplorable act is beyond the moguls who control the Tory campaign.

I echo that Ralph. Baseless, pathetic accusations. We'll be getting 9/11 and moon landing conspiracies on here next.

The conspiracy theory regarding the Pentagon interest me, especially the argument how could a plane make a round hole and what happened to the tail and wings?

As for the sentence Ralph highlights, I didn't say May would be pleased by the act of terror. She is demonstrably horrified and upset by it. I merely said what she will be pleased about is the timing and poll boost.

"Because child, in 2013, Malabus, the UK Parliament, and other pansies supported not going in to sort out Syria which allowed ISIS to emerge and recruit, and then the UK government, re-elected in 2017 by Malabus and other Daily Mail readers continued under-funding the police and sold arms to the Saudis who then used these arms to support terrorists in Syria and money to support fanatical Wasabi mosques in the UK who radicalised young people. The government actually suppressed publications of a report into their dealings with the Saudis the week before the election - although that may have been too late to change anything after the foreign policy disaster in 2013, and again in 2016 when the West did nothing to respond to the siege of Aleppo, which became a breeding ground for jihadis the catalyst for a series of terrorist attacks in the West in the following 18 months. There was an option in 2017 for people to choose something called Liberalism, where unity rather than division would have been the answer to the crisis. However, those who hated liberal values won. Well they got what they voted for, which is why you now live in a non-liberal and oppressive nation."Malabus wrote:

As a centralist, I'm neither right nor left. I seek to occupy a happy medium of common sense and integrity. Unfortunately, British politics is now occupied by extreme and alienating parties, none of whom I can wholeheartedly support. One thing I can say though, is that self righteous and acerbic statements from either end of the spectrum only serve to isolate each end even further. The extreme right and it's Daily Mail audience is only matched in its single-minded ignorance by the current generation of extreme left and its Guardian audience. Both are as damaging and reckless as one another.

No, I was assuming the voice of the Granddad in your meme, addressing the fictional grand child.Malabus wrote:So I'm a child now, RCS....does that mean you fancy me.
Any comment on the detail of the post?

I do wonder where this idea of 'extreme left' has come from. For example, the Labour manifesto is slightly to the right of centrist social democracy in Denmark & Sweden, and barely further left than social democracy in Germany. And unless Macron actually reforms anything, still to the right of France by some way. Similar to America where Obama was criticised as socialist by some, when he was in fact the same as Blair and Thatcher on the spectrum. (And how do people in 'extreme left Denmark & Sweden feel? http://blogs.lse.ac.uk/politicsandpolic ... enes-more/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)Circa 1887 wrote:As a centralist, I'm neither right nor left. I think it's more of a case of right wing vs liberalism. I'm much more in favour of free-markets (and anti-market failure) than many Conservatives (who often don't support free-markets at all), so I am economically right wing, but socially I am liberal (pro-equality, anti-discrimination, anti-corruption).
Those who bang on about Corbyn being a Marxist etc really don't understand what they are talking about - but in recent years 'extreme left' and 'Liberalism' have been confused in many peoples' eyes.

It is possible to have two bad guys. We should have got rid of Assad and ISIS in one go.Malabus wrote:

I didn't say anything about a vacuum. If our boys and NATO/UN had been in Syria since 2013 controlling it, the terrorists would not have stood a chance.Malabus wrote:Getting rid of Assad in order for the power vacuum to be filled by more terrorists.RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote:It is possible to have two bad guys. Or, are you agreeing with Jeremy Corbyn that UK intervention in Iraq and Libya helped stir up more Islamist extremists?

Here is footage from yesterday of Amber Rudd, Home Secretary, writing a note silencing and shutting down criticism of the government providing arms to ISIS via Saudi Arabia at a local hustings. Government censorship damaging democracy.

Nothing unpleasant about questioning why the former Home Secretary is trying to cover up links to selling arms to Saudi Arabia and aiding and abetting Islamic extremism.Malabus wrote:It's a shame Ralph just deleted one of his liberal unpleasantness.
As well as Rudd censoring election hustings in the video above, there is also the Home Office report her and May are suppressing: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/te ... 73146.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Carry on supporting Jihad if you want Mal. I am voting against it.
