Not new news. Official demographic breakdown data of electoral cohorts been published for ages.
It is a bit reductive. And nothing to do with intelligence at all.
Reason is twofold. One, better educated people are likely to have been educated by homogeneous institutions training people to work in an global/EU-focussed economy. And better educated people are likely to benefit more from EU membership (work, income, peer networks across EU and EU diaspora in UK).
So a bit of a false statistic.

All it would prove is that the lesser educated and more downtrodden people of the UK feel exceptionally let down by our membership to the EU. And that's a lot of people.
Meanwhile, the better educated that are more than making ends meet want to stay and keep things as they are. Wow. There's a surprise.

Apart from the super rich (Johnson, Rees Mogg, Farrage) in our politics who view EU human rights and environmental legislation as barriers to them exploiting the downtrodden even more.Shade wrote:All it would prove is that the lesser educated and more downtrodden people of the UK feel exceptionally let down by our membership to the EU. Of course there are the educated downtrodden, who still voted Remain and voted Labour as they blame spivs, monopolies, corruption and market-rigging for their plight, rather than immigrants who the tabloids convince the uneducated to blame. Same tabloids whose owners and editors are in cahoots with the aforementioned politicians!

the thread heading kind of implies that all 'better educated' voted remain. I would dispute that. And I dont mean just those RCS likes to group together
