I think it is beginning to dawn on the ROI that the biggest losers out of Brexit, is themselves. I would argue that their clamour for no border, is more to do with getting a soft bridge to Europe by creating a back door in NI, rather than any great feeling fro some farmer who may have to cross the border 5 times a day.
However, the stance of 'no deal' will only impact them even more. I do wonder if people actually read these statements and think about the other side of the coin? No deal, would lead to a harder border, no deal would create chaos in ROI trying to road freight goods to Europe via the UK bridge.
There is a chain of thought in ROI among respected views, that the best solution for ROI once ULK leaves the EU, is to leave it themselves.
