Population decline.

UK birth rate now only averaging 1.9 kids per woman.

Given you need 2.1 births per couple to maintain a constant population (allowing for infant mortality) this only means one thing.

Not good for ensuring a pipeline of young workers to fund state pensions/social care/etc unless immigration is allowed to make up the difference.
