Corbyn walks out of Party Leaders meeting with May because Chuka Umunna was there and now May gives another pitiful and pointless statement. What an absolute useless pair of unbelievably pathetic pieces of s#!t. Seriously, what is wrong with May? She must have some sort of disorder.

Yes, her statement last night was an absolute joke. Basically blaming the MPs for the mess whilst making no mention of her shite deal being the problem. In fact, she repeated the same old shite about her deal being the best one on offer. Surely the two embarrassing defeats in the Commons should be enough to suggest to her that her deal is c!#p and nobody wants it, but clearly not.

As for Corbyn, what an absolute bell-end. Like you, I gave him a chance when he first took over Labour but it didn't take me long to realise what a fkn numpty he is. The sooner he (and his like-minded cronies) goes, the better.

Time for the "men in grey suits" to step in I think. On Question Time last week, Julia Hartley-Brewer, staunch Tory supporter, suggested it's time for the men in white coats to call at number 10. Ms May, judging by her rants of this week, seems to have joined the sufferers of mad cow disease.

People who actually understand the economic, trade, business, legal and partnership issues involved certainly need to step in. If ever there was an argument for elected personalities to replaced expert technocrats the absolute inability and incompetence of our political leaders is it.

The time for ideology and party preservation has long past. We need evidence based policy decisions.

I have always voted and have respected the results whatever the outcome but I cannot believe the behaviour of our elected MPs. It really questions our form of democracy. Is there any point in voting in the future?

You look at the three main parties, would you want any of them to be in charge of the country, going forward?

What a corrupt stitch up. May says she will resign if her vote passed and all of a sudden the likes of Boris will support what they know is a bad deal just to try and get the top job and keep themselves and their school chums in power. These parasitic shits don’t care about the people and businesses of Britain, leaving the EU or Brexit at all - purely self interest and greed.

When will the f*cking thick moron mugs who voted for this in 2016 realise: Boris, Rees-Mogg, Farage etc don’t give a flying f*ck about you, your life, your concerns, sovereignty or Europe or anything at all apart from their own corrupt agenda of being in Government for personal gain. You have been absolutely played and it is costing us all severely. Just got to hope it will cost you more!

(Note: Labour no better and equally guilty of playing politics and focussing on self-preservation rather than acting in national interest.)

Politicians will have to work very hard to convince to vote ever again in a general election.

Customs Union and Confirmatory Vote the only two options to get more support in Parliament than May’s deal. A lot of abstentions on each. These two options clearly have much more of a chance of getting majority support than May’s deal.

As many pointed our in the Commons last night following the vote results, including by the Speaker himself, the Government has been debating on the Withdrawal Act since November, whereas the options voted on yesterday had been debated for one day in total. So it is hardly a surprise that no majority could be found in one day, given that no majority could be found in four months for the PM's deal.

Also, as pointed out by many in the chamber, and also by RCS above, two of the options secured more support on their first attempt than Mrs. May's deal has on two tries already.

I found it very amusing when the Brexit Secretary came out and said words to the effect of "the results prove that there is no majority for anything in this House and the only way forward is to pass the PM's deal" completely ignoring the fact the Clarke and Beckett amendments garnered more support than the PM's deal!

The Dept for Exiting the EU yesterday tweeted that a Common Market 2.0 would “not honour the referendum result” - which is a complete fallacy as the referendum was to leave and leaving with CM2.0 is still leaving so by definition honouring the decision to leave. Such blatant lying and rewriting of history by a Government department my be frequent in rapid fake news corrrupt states like the USA or Australia, or autocracies like Russia and China but it must not infest our democracy - and unfortunately Brexit appears to have opened the door to such infestation and whether we can ever recover to have an honest and respectable democracy must be in doubt.

But I was told by the 'experts' to the run up to the 2016 referendum that leave means leave and that meant leaving the customs union. We have to leave the custom union in order to leave and to honour the vote of the British people.

They want to go against what the people wanted. Just in it for themselves. Hopefully the people will remember this when it's election time

In case the zombie thick sh!ts who love their ‘anti-elite’ Brexiteers need any more evidence that Rees-Mogg is the most elite and establishment of them all:

He thinks Winchester alumni are plebs. And idiots in places like Stoke-on-Trent thinks he cares about them and their jobs. So sad.

I would have sympathy for those who are going to be screwed over and destitute (the poorest, most vulnerable and unqualified) if the likes of Rees-Mogg get their way - but I am rapidly concluding that their are only so many times you can take a parched horse to water or ask a Turkey to vote for Easter and not Christmas before you have to give up.

So Dominic Grieve, who has worked tirelessly to ensure Parliament involvement in Brexit from that difficult position of representing a Remain constituency whilst committed to implementing the national referendum result in a way that his constituents can support has been deselected by 180 or so local party members - many of which are UKIP entryists - to be replaced with a former UKIP candidate who will now stand for the Conservatives at the next general election. Deselected for representing your constituents; not a good look for the Tory Bluekippers.

Customs Union now only defeated by 3 votes (albeit with abstentions) and Nick Boles just quit the Conservatives (surely off to TIG now).

Despite the slim loss, cue more "the only deal on offer is the PM's deal" shite again from the Government.

Delay agreed until 31st October, with a review in June to assess whether we are actually making progress on forming a cross-party consensus or still bickering and playing games in Parliament.

Easy to say, extremely difficult to do. First of all, you need to define what you mean by buying British? How far down the manufacturing chain do you need to go?

Good riddance. Worst. PM. Ever. And that's from a Tory voter.

I still have sympathy for her, though: she took on the mantle of delivering the undeliverable and predictably failed.

Quite surprising she has managed to hang on for this long. This thread was started back in November and the writing was already on the wall back then.

Likewise, albeit not being a Tory voter, I still have a bit of sympathy for her - she certainly sounded upset in her speech earlier.

Definitely something lacking in her perception of what her role was. She seemed to misunderstand polls and voting trends as the public's disquiet over Westminster not moving on with her 'deal'. As opposed to, what I believe to be the case, her inability to grasp the fact that the public at large, did not want her deal.

In saying that, as a human, you have to feel some 'pity', for her. Dumped on from a great height by Mr Cameron. But, there again, she did not have to stand for the position of PM. Compromise mat not be a dirty word, but sitting in an ivory tower, with a very small group of confidantes. Is no way to bargain or run a country.

The step to be taken at the start, was to put NI MP's (of any persuasion), in front of the EU negotiators. They are the most experienced MP's we have in that role and I think the EU would have known a pushover or as they saw it making UK a colony, was not going to happen.

Will be interesting to see who steps up next. One things for certain, they will have to take a harder line with EU, concentrate on getting a free trade agreement and avoid the procrastination of back stops , etc etc etc

Just an opinion
