JUST DO IT - Stop talking about it !!!
In hindsight there should have been clear guidelines as to what would be the consequences of any EU member wanting to exit and those consequences forming the basis of the referendum

Doesn't make no difference, parliament will not honour the democratic vote. I will not vote again and now making plans to live outside the EU in Iceland (2021).Nesty wrote:JUST DO IT - Stop talking about it !!!

In hindsight, the referendum campaigns should have focused on facts instead of spreading misinformation and false promises.Nesty wrote:JUST DO IT - Stop talking about it !!!

The whole sorry tale, just shows up MP's for what they are (on the whole), self serving, egotistical sycophants. Have no time for anyone, who stands for any party and on a manifesto. Then decides that their own views are more important and choose to follow that path, instead of the manifesto they were elected on.
Last nights vote was further proof of the laughable state of debate and logic in 'that place'. A referendum is decried because the result was so narrow and the view of the losing side should be taken into account. However, win by one vote and game on! What about all those that voted against you?
Totally disillusioned with politics and politicians.
Will wait to see if Mrs Mays agreement, all of a sudden becomes OK, because Mr x and Mrs Y are getting a say on something.

Yep got to agree with this. Every one of those that has blocked leaving at every opportunity when their constituency voted to leave, needs to be voted out. Every last one of them.Ihearye wrote:The whole sorry tale, just shows up MP's for what they are (on the whole), self serving, egotistical sycophants.
