Worcester

Talk about other football teams at all levels. AND ANY Glos City related threads, even if talking about the groundsharing.

Relegated from the Northern feeder to the regional leagues.

Such a dramatic fall from having Lee Hughes a couple of years ago and their FA Cup heroics.

Not that surprising if you're aware of their new ground 'planning'.

Worcester City had decided to resign from the level they were placed at, and the FA have declined to allow them to drop a single level, so they will play 2017-18 in the Midland League, Premier Division

Very interesting.

When we won the Southern League in 1985 we effectively replaced Worcester in the Conference.

As far as I am aware Worcester have never been promoted or relegated from any division in the 32 years since then, until today anyway ...

Worcester was my first ever away game in 1960's and they were definite rivals at the time and beating them was considered a major achievement. How times change....

....they sold their ground without having a cast iron deal in place to build elsewhere then squandered the cash season after season by living beyond their means.

Just illustrates how well Glos City have done to remain afloat.
