with a number of trialists expected to hook up, begs a question, how many trialists down the years have made the cut?

This Summer has exactly the same ring to it as last summer. Surely we need to sign some more players soon. The players need time to Gel and get to know each other in pre season.
Leaving it until August will not help us one bit.

Not exactly the same...we've signed 3 players and let a load go.

That's a little harsh, we signed three players already, have three loans agreed (I will panic if they are not announced by next week), a goal keeper is rumoured to be close and the Echo reports are closing in on the signing of a right back. That gives us a squad of twenty one players, from there I'd guess we will add 1-2 players either free transfers or from trialists.

Remember James Rowe, George McLennon, Jack Munns. and O'Shoggers all came as trialists so we can trust GJ.
