You would have to wonder who is on their way out! Do we need 6 forwards. If it is true, then welcome! Just didn't think this was a must have?

Another striker really? Scoring goals isn't the problem, it's conceding them.

Must be Wright or Holman.confused.com wrote:You would have to wonder who is on their way out! Do we need 6 forwards. If it is true, then welcome! Just didn't think this was a must have?

Yeah I also gathered that reading about the deal. If he plays well and gets moved uptop when Sellars is back I think it's the end of Holman hereCTFCfan99 wrote:I reckon he'll play out wide

Or Wright. We don't need Wright and Graham.Rulistening wrote:Yeah I also gathered that reading about the deal. If he plays well and gets moved uptop when Sellars is back I think it's the end of Holman hereCTFCfan99 wrote:I reckon he'll play out wide
Holman showed something none of our other strikers can for his goal. Winning the ball back and battering through challenges with determination in the style of Grayson/Gillespie/Naylor. I would start Holman on Saturday and see if he kicks on after his goal.

Wright and Graham are the experience we need and cover for each other. Mo may play wider.Anyway ,if he signs we still need Mustoe a right back and a centre half.
Seriously what is it with CTFC fans, they wanted more signings now we are making one it's not good enough. It's a young lad being released by a Premiership club who can give us options from the bench. The lad likely has some decent potential and seemingly has been in the pipeline for a little while as GJ hinted at it last week.
I understand a keeper is also lined up and Mustoe too, this may have changed though with the injury to Forster.

Six forwards? We have Eisa, Wright, Holman and Graham who else? This lad - assuming it happens I understand provisional deals were agreed for at least three players last week but this may change due to Forster injury - I don't see what's wrong with a fifth especially as he can play out wide for us too and has some pace.confused.com wrote:You would have to wonder who is on their way out! By the way I have heard one name who may be on the way out and it is not a striker.

His only Football League goal came against us which says it all.

Robin, I was including Page and Sellars as forwards on our books. The comment was merely my thoughts on a forward not being a top priority, not that I didn't want him here(if he does actually sign). If others are coming in all well and good. It is my hope they are starting 11 and not bench.

That is a forward in my books. Sellars certainly cannot defend. I hope Grimes is the player(non forward) that is on the way.

He is a striker .Not really what we are short of at the moment. Defence is the trouble.
