A lot of fans starting to lose faith in Johnson now with some baffling decisions. Are you Johnson In or Out?

Indeed! Just need to find a team that scores a few own goals and away we go

Out by November 6th if league form is still pants and we are out of the Cup. Who pays the compo? Perhaps the Ins will crowdfund it along with the Billy bonuses .
If he were to be hounded out and compo had to be paid, why would the Ins be expected "to crowd fund it"?!horlickfanclub wrote:Out by November 6th if league form is still pants and we are out of the Cup. Who pays the compo? Perhaps the Ins will crowdfund it along with the Billy bonuses .

In. No use pressing the panic button yet. We are not getting thumped every game. Could have easily been four or even six points from the last two if we had been more ruthless. I know that is part of the game but there is some luck involved too (see Newport's goal). The defence looks really capable and I am confident that we will not be in a relegation dog fight once we get out of this bad run.
The players need someone to lift them and the manager is not doing that with his tinkering of team/tactics.He may try reverse psychology but it often sounds like he is undermining them.Robin wrote:In, but that could change over the next few games if results do not improve and we can identify quality candidates to do better and not Buckle/Yates/Allen/Milton etc but more Ward, Cotterill, Johnson level.

Though the longer he is 'in' the less the time that needs to be paid off.horlickfanclub wrote:Because they have prolonged the agony.

All relative...we are Football League, play in our own ground in our town supported by the Council, and Chairman who is in it for love not to land-grab...so I imagine to Gloucester fans we are over reacting.Robin wrote:Genuine question Dave but what is your view as an outsider looking in, is there an over reaction from CTFC fans in your opinion?Daveangel wrote:It's a big IN from me!
Yates did a very respectable job here over a number of season and as such deserves more respect, whilst Johnson is fast becoming our worst ever Football League managerRobin wrote:In, but that could change over the next few games if results do not improve and we can identify quality candidates to do better and not Buckle/Yates/Allen/Milton etc but more Ward, Cotterill, Johnson level.
Yates almost took us out of the league in two seasons, he had two good seasons with the benefit of £500k cash injection but let's not go there...IYWT wrote:Yates did a very respectable job here over a number of season and as such deserves more respect, whilst Johnson is fast becoming our worst ever Football League managerRobin wrote:In, but that could change over the next few games if results do not improve and we can identify quality candidates to do better and not Buckle/Yates/Allen/Milton etc but more Ward, Cotterill, Johnson level.
Several points are not true, so I'll reply to the grown up question.RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote:All relative...we are Football League, play in our own ground in our town supported by the Council, and Chairman who is in it for love not to land-grab...so I imagine to Gloucester fans we are over reacting.Robin wrote:Genuine question Dave but what is your view as an outsider looking in, is there an over reaction from CTFC fans in your opinion?Daveangel wrote:It's a big IN from me!
Not really to be honest. If you'd had a decent season last time I'd say it's early days, but you didn't. Seems to be a bit of a downward spiral on what I imagine is a reasonable budget, and some of his tactical decision making lately is questionable at best.Robin wrote:Genuine question Dave but what is your view as an outsider looking in, is there an over reaction from CTFC fans in your opinion?Daveangel wrote:It's a big IN from me!
I'd be very concerned, but it's the age old problem of finding someone who would do better. The Yates/Buckle scenario springs to mind, and sometimes it's better the devil you know than an unknown quantity.
One thing for certain. Paul Baker will do what he thinks is in the best interest of CTFC, whether you agree with him or not.

It would be interesting to conduct this poll again in October.
