If loans, then Morrell instead of Pell.

Winchester - heartbeat of the side in whatever position.
Mo - Natural goalscorer.
Dawson - Goalscorer and works very hard.
Flinders - Wonderful composure and ability for L2.
Atangana - The risky suggestion but has the potential to be outstanding at this level.

Good point re. Atangana - I might put him ahead of Boyle on reflection.

Quite a consensus on some players then!

My five would be as follows:
Eisa
Winchester
Pell
Boyle
Atangana

Flinders and Dawson could be there also potentially replacing Atangana. If we could sign Morrell Permanently he'd also make that list.

I would agree with any of the above combinations.

If young master Sellars was able to make slightly better decisions about when to release the ball, particularly with regard to his awareness of the whereabouts of better positioned team mates, he would be on everyone’s list. He would then be top of the Scouting lists too.

There's only 7 to choose from, it seems, with Flinders and Pell being the two I haven't chosen. But, indeed, if Sellars scores and/or creates more like he did on Saturday then he would be in the list shortly. Same goes for new signings, though.

Eisa - proper goalscorer, wins us games
Winchester - as others have said absolute quality wherever he plays
Flinders - always important to have a calm and experienced head at the back
Dawson - rarely has a bad game, always works hard
Sellars - maybe a slightly unpopular choice but I think he has the potential to be an absolutely brilliant player. His touch, dribbling and control are of a standard for beyond L2 and if he can begin to add some end product to his game he'll be playing at a higher level in no time.

Boyle, Pell and Atangana honourable mentions, as well as Morrell if we're including loans.

A mix of better players from last season, and quality additions this season. Shows the direction we are moving bin. The aim should be for two or three of signings next summer to challenge the top five list - ie continue to bring in quality whilst keeping the quality we have.

Add cranners, graham, Lloyd, Elijah and Samni for the squad.

Need three or four defenders then!
Grimes and Manny for the squad. Sign quality RB, experienced CB and someone who can cover both RB/LB.

Actually it does highlight that nobody is picking defenders and most of our quality is in midfield! For me Wright and Grimes are the two weakest links who I wouldn't feel confident picking in my strongest eleven.

Quite a few people have picked Boyle. But no, not many.

In a way, this kind of backs up a post I made yesterday about Accy and Exeter building a core and then having good, cheaper players around them. We're kind of doing that, but a few of the core and cheaper players still need tweaking.

Don't forget Forster, if he gets back to full fitness will be an asset come March.

Of course! I did forget. Was easily one of the best CBs in L2 prior to his injury. If he recovers to the same level then we don't need to sign an experienced CB in the summer. Forster with Boyle or Grimes alongside. Focus efforts on full backs where we still only have one in the squad and need three or four.

I have always been an advocate of two in each position. So yes, if we don't keep Manny a 4th CB is needed. I would say Grimes is the minimum standard needed.

Of course if one CB is like Keith Lowe and can cover RB then even better. But would still like four FBs.

I wouldn't have Pell in my top 5. He can be extremely clumsy and while on form he can dominate games at League 2 level he often goes missing and has a mare. The player I enjoy watching the most is Sellars, even if he should have more end product.

Yes, five Winchester's would be good. One at left back, one at right back, 2 in centre mid and one of the right or floating behind the strikers.

Team of Winnies vs a Team of Jerry Gills.

I think I know which side my money would be on to score a couple of goals.
