Anyone following Solihull's fortunes since Yatesy took over? After a huge upturn in form since MY took over in mid-November they've finally caught up the last team outside the relegation zone, Barrow, on 40 points. They're still in the relegation zone on goal difference, though, at the moment. Barrow have two games in hand but have just 2 wins this calendar year and what appears to be a slightly harder run-in. Hartlepool's 2 wins on the bounce has put them 5 points clear of the drop zone.
Before MY: 11 points in 17 games. 2 wins, 3 draws, 12 defeats. With MY: 29 points in 20 games. 8 wins, 7 draws, 5 defeats.
Nice one Yatesy, got my fingers crossed for ya.

Yes I have been following. Barrow suffering since losing Byron Harrison to Sutton, where he has been been on the scoresheet recently.
Annoying it is them as I enjoyed the trip to Barrow. Much rather Woking or Maidestone went.

Woking are in the worst form with just 2 points out of the last 21 available so very plausible they could drop. They're only 4 points clear with a worse goal difference.

Another big win for Yates' men, now clear of the relegation zone and with a two team buffer. Woking now definitwly favourites to drop, 1 point ahead of Barrow having played 2 games more and in no kind of form.

Great stuff by Yates and Storer and the whole SM side. Hope they survive.

Three goals and three points at home today for the Moors.
Six points clear now.

Can still finish 12th, and it's not against realms of possibility given their form. 5 points behind 12th with 9 to play for.

Barrow win to leapfrog Woking and send the Surrey side into the bottom four. Guiseley relegated after a valiant few years surviving against the odds. Tranmere secure a top 3 spot so straight to a play off semi final.

And 3 points at Tranmere guarantees Soihull's safety as they shoot up to 15th with a game to go. A fantastic achievement.

Yates must be in the running for Conference manager of the season, although probably a solid third after Garrard and the Macc man.

I'd imagine so. Speaking of Macc, I hadn't realised Keith Lowey Lowe had joined them last summer. Played 38 games this season apparently. Well done Keef! Hope you get one final crack at L2.

Season over after early kick offs.
Moors finish on 54 points in 18th after a home hammering by Eastleigh.
Working go down and Barrow survive.
Sutton join Tranmere in the play off semi.
Boreham Wood, Aldershot, Ebbsfleet, and Fylde go into the quarters.
Looks like Tranmere’s to lose.

Think Fylde will do well in the play-offs. Love the new format for the play-offs too

One thing's for certain, if Tranmere don't do it again then there's a fairly small club coming up into the league (yes I include Aldershot in that).

Whilst I’ve nothing against Tranmere, I’d quite like to see a new team in the league like Sutton. Looking forward to watching the NL play offs

They are now as they found a compromise hybrid pitch which meets arcane League rules but still allows 50 hours of use a week on the pitch to benefit the community, schools and club finances. The trouble with not wanting to go up was that the National League would have relegated them as punishment.

Tranmere’s to lose, and unless they do it will not be long before league clubs come clamouring for Garrard. We need to be at the front of the queue.
