Surely he can do better than the likes of Posh, hope he signs for Brentford and we get Ilais as part of the deal.

Obviously he can, and that's why Peterborough have said that he's too expensive for them.

I assume the verbal response was laughter. No way Posh could offer anything which isn’t derisory.

Can't blame them afais, bit like watching bargain hunt and wondering why someone puts in a high bid that turns out to be the only bid and they end up paying more than needed

Slight difference in that it doesn’t matter how many bidders there are, we have a minimum price required to even consider thinking about negotiating. In fact, the fewer bidders there are the better, as it reduces the chances of a club turning Mo’s head.

No difference tbh why go in with a high bid when you have no idea what the selling price will end up as. Make I low bid if you its accepted, great. If not, nothing lost

The quotes from Peterborough in this article look like they could have been written by an agent trying to bring the the price down. Now whether JP went looking for the quotes or has been used as a patsy printing lines sent by an agent it doesn’t matter.

There are sharks out there looking to disrupt Mo and hinder the Club’s difficult summer recruiting task, to contrive a deal which is not wanted or needed by, or beneficial to player or club.

The easiest job for Gary and Andy this summer is to say “Mo is not for sale” and that is the only line JP should be printing on the matter.

As you say, he doesn't want to leave, so can't disrupt if his resolve is there

If Evans and Fry are involved tread carefully and you can double the price of whatever they suggest. If they were selling a player the story would be very different. They would be talking the fee right up.

All resolve has limits. People will try and chip away at it, and we must nip their efforts to do so in the bud.

JP: back page headline “Eisa is not for sale”
