Yes it was indeed. As far as I have seen Broom was only reported on when JP said he was close top singing a couple of days ago. No other mention of him before that (?) If so, hardly one of the original reported targets. The names being thrown about were Hussey, Williams, Fontaine and Young, Alcock. Think Mullins was also a late addition

Luke Young played in a trial match at Seasons last week, but yet to hear anything further about whether or not he is signing...

You reporting has been exceptional Jon, really hoping GJ can get the signings of Alcock and Williams over the line in particular.

Could be an option if we don't land Hussey or Ilias in that case.

Twitter would have a meltdown if GJ signed anyone linked to Bristol City

If he is Ubico he is likely to miss one week in four. I thought Ubico was our new loan striker from Ecuador.

The fact that some of them think he could do a job in L1 speaks volumes about him.

Hopefully he'll be good at recycling the ball and won't be utter garbage.

Has this gone too far yet?

I think so. Time to trash this one. Or at least brush it under the carpet.

Doubt it was ever a real target. Just local paper guff. Same as we see each year.

How could I forget. Dare I say, not made up by anyone...just you! (Or your cobblers mate, or whichever source it was this time.)

Still, wouldn’t be a summer on the RNF without Robin’s rumours.
