Does Pell count as speculation bearing in mind the club have confirmed a bid has been accepted?

More exciting and pretend drama for Robin this way.

Jon Palmer broke the story before the club announced a big has been accepted so I thought I would include it.

You forgot some others you could include:

Boyle frozen out (speculation)
Boyle rejects new contract (speculation)
Boyle signs new contract (speculation)

I know this has all been confirmed and tidied up, but the speculation happened before it was so still worth including.

Don't see us getting that many 3-4 permanent and 2-3 loans unless players leave like Winchester and Eisa. Decent full backs and a powerful forward like Akinde should be our priority. Would love us to announce Alcock next.

I think the 9 would be including Winchester as he's obviously not on that signed up list above. If Winchester signs we'd need about 8 more. We need at least 3 full backs, 4 midfielders and a striker, imo.

Agree, not yet close to having the required two men in each position. But the early signings have provided good pillars to build around.

Given we can only play two full backs at a time, we ain't going to get two decent league 2 standard right backs and two decent league 2 standard left backs. So rather than 4 players, I'd be very happy with three, some or all of which can play both sides. Plus Mullins and Dawson to cover.

Start of June and we have the vast bulk of the squad together, think we need two strikers and a right back as a minimum. Probably 3-4 players in total if nobody leaves.

......... and not (yet) a loan player in sight. looking at the Brizzle City squad I cannot see any obvious candidates to come here either than Morrell and Moore

I don't think there has been a single loan signing in league two at this point, those will probably happen early July when teams report back for pre-season training. Hopefully we can make another two permanent signings first (powerful striker and right back).

Eighteen players signed on, it's a very small squad so I would hope for 3-4 more players including a first choice striker and a few loans (left sided one to cover Hussey a must).

Probably need another striker to compete for the privilege to play alongside Mo.

I'm more interested in who will be playing LB/LWB for the first 4 games.

Add in the French lad and that makes 19, and then I'd have thought we're looking at a couple of loans and a couple more permanent. Or maybe all permanent depending on how much of the Mo money goes into the budget.

I'd say we need 22 players minimum given we cannot take loans during the season, ideally it would be 23-24 so the likes of Lloyd and Bower can go out for experience.

Updated, anyone know where Holman, Adam Page and Josh Thomas ended up or if they have found clubs?

Page signed for Gloucester. Think other two yet to be confirmed. Holman was training at aldershot last I saw.
