Some money is better than no money though I can’t help but be a bit disappointed after AW bigged up his ability to get a decent ground sponsor.
The net book value of Jonny Rocks assets is £36,577 and in the year 2017-18 they owe creditors £23,445.
Trading deficit of £5,446 for the year 2016-17, leaving reserves of -£5,585.
Either 2017-18 has been a lot better or we can assume they aren’t paying much more for the ground than they were a hoarding.

Fair play to the club for being a bit-tongue-cheek about it too. Guess they wouldn't have got away with being too serious about it but even so, hats off.

Accrington's three year deal with WHAM is worth £200k. Though that is combined ground and shirt sponsorship and is complicated by the fact that the sponsor is also their famously benevolent owner.ctfc-fan wrote:Be interested to get an idea of the cost of this sponsorship...
Peterborough flogged their naming rights for a reported £500k over multiple seasons. The going rate for a (non-big 6) Premier League stadium sponsorship for a season is reckoned to be around £1.5m.
On that basis, I'd reckon somewhere between £20-40k would be about right for a season of sponsorship of WR.

See my info provided above. The company on the face of it is not flush with cash so probably not much more than the hoarding they had.Jerry St Clair wrote:Accrington's three year deal with WHAM is worth £200k.
