Released by Aldershot.

One goal all season, a rough time for Dan since he fired us to promotion, wish him all the best.

A real shame when injury destroys a career. Like a lower league Matt Jansen.

Had he not got irrecoverably injured I am convinced he would have done the business in L2. He showed glimpses whilst trying to get fit but not to be.

Can see him going to Torquay.

Doubtful. Aldershot said the travelling was a bit much for him.

Another sobering reminder of the realities of being a lower league footballer.

When life on a modest wage is like this, it's not surprising at all that players jump at a decent pay day and probably worth remembering as supporters that humdrum factors (see Kyle Storer's commuting petrol costs) play a big part in what players we are able bring to the club.

Point well made. It was heart-breaking to see a player of DH's undoubted ability having his career effectively ended by the fickle hand of fate.

Gutted for Dan. Hope he finds another club quickly, rediscovers his form and regains his confidence. When he was firing on all cylinders for Cheltenham he had the potential to emulate Steve Gillespie and if he’d not picked up that toe problem, he’d have made his mark in League 2.

Must be awful for him, possibly making that decision that his football career is now over.

Really pleased for him.

Remember that after he had fired us back into the league how concerned us fans were that we would lose him.

Hope he can keep scoring and move up the leagues again.
