CTFC vs Grimsby Town Saturday 16th February 2019.
I quote from RCS …”I assume those who predicted we might score didn’t go to Carlisle the other week. Having seen that slow, sideways, insipid play it was no surprise at all to read we had no shot on target today;” and my similar comment last post when at ‘home’; so the hopeful optimists ran out of luck and the pragmatists both scored! Enough said: missed the commentary and the ‘5’things wrong with CTFC that JP will publish tomorrow will not alter that fact that we are dire, have a very poor squad and that MD will do exceptionally well to keep us in the league.
So JRA slowly catching up asl with RCS gaining a little, no change elsewhere.
So a long trek to the long forgotten fishing fleet of Grimsby, [used to love watching the trawlers come in and the activity at dockside – but that was Lowestoft eons ago!]: forecast a loss with three goals adrift and no scorer [0-3 loss] – familiar?
[comments aside - back to Grimsby...!]

Kris Dennis with the Cod winner; after my calls to “go get him Gary” last January when the Spireites were in chaos were ignored.

I'm saying nothing; but have you tried doing the lottery recently?
