CTFC vs Friday March 15th Away

A comfortable win, getting the deserved results against lowly teams at long last; although a nervy 20 mins or so second half. Didn’t see the penalty against us as a melee of players obscured my view; Boyle apparently, so he cancelled out his excellent header – ah well! Good team performance yet again, Waters running himself into the ground again. Thought Raglan had a decent game too. RCS will, at least, have a self-satisfied smirk on his long journey home; one a match enjoyed and two he’s caught asl!. Pleased that Notts Co did not resort to thuggery in their approach, unlike some of their fans. Which brings me on to Newport who often do resort to such tactics, also losing badly against Colchester , so may well be out to make amend. So I’ll very optimistically predict a draw at 1-1, even though our defence still has dodgy patches! Varney to score.

Blimey...how did that happen? No...actually, how did that happen...? RCS didn't submit a prediction against Bury while I scored 10 points and I thought I still led by 10 before that?

You were 5 ahead before Bury (see the Newport prediction thread) so you went 15 clear after Bury. So that should be the same today.

As I haven’t been following closely, at the end of the season I would like tir to publish a table of everyone’s weekly score so we can independently add up and validate your final scores.

I'll check thoroughly some time to-day; but quickly 'we' agreed earlier on that if someone missed a game the prediction for the previous game counted; hence RSC's non-prediction score.

Re Missed prediction; I [’we’] agreed to take the last post – up to three misses. Andy posted vs Port Vale; missed two but had Walters to score hence 5 points vs Bury. Reminder three consecutive strikes then out!!
I somehow fouled up badly – in fact such a colossal error I could walk into the current Cabinet no problem; perhaps as Treasurer or Home Secretary! I somehow misplaced and scrambled Bury’s and Notts Co scores. Trust this is accurate now with the up to date league positions!
So asl still leading, comfortably and RCS nursing his grievance somewhere up North! Still it was a good, comfortable win to put a rare smile on our faces.

Absolute f#!$ thundercunting shite. Couldn’t decide between 1-0 and 1-1 on the way to the pub, opted for 1-0, thought I had posted just before getting served, phone in pocket, and just left the pub to see the dreaded “page not loaded, server stopped responding” message.

asl you are one lucky b#!#%#d.

In my mind tonight will be the night we tied on 195, even if officially you have extended your lead. Enjoy your hollow victory.

After getting an absolute pummeling at badminton while that match was going on, I'll take any victory on offer - hollow, Jamie, or otherwise.
