CTFC vs Scunthorpe United Away 8th February 2020

We all scored 5; CTFC 3. Ref was a joke; and the officials little better. How they failed too see the strong-arm blow defies logic. Thought we were rather fortunate to win in the end; scrappy passing and nervy looks seemed to be prevalent second half. Wind didn't help; but felt Varney had a decent game until replaced, and likewise Sean Long [although his passing still needs work!]. May jittered about; good goal, and still learning about his colleagues. Feel we lack mass and height up front though; in fact Saturday we rather lacked height all round, winning too few headers for a change.
For next Saturday if we are to maintain contact with the play-off hopefuls we will need to win. Illness and injury n=still niggling away so I'll go for a draw at 2-2 with Varney to score the opener.
